Osage Station Park

The Town of Danville has announced that renovated of Osage Station Park are complete. An excerpt from Danville Patch: DANVILLE, CA — Osage Station Park Playground, one of Danville’s premier play areas, will be reopening to the public October 3, after a months-long renovation project. The play area was closed off to the public in early 2016 for the project. Iron Horse Trail Improvements

The trails get much more traffic during sunny days and summer months so of course, they are bound to get some wear and tear. Luckily, this problem will be solved and the trail will be improved thanks to Measure J that will include “include resurfacing, removing and replacing damaged asphalt, crack sealing, leveling, micro-surfacing, slurry sealing and seal coating.” This great renovation will span 16 miles of the 32 mile trail and construction will begin this week and end July 28th to reveal a new and improved scenic escape. Danville Library Closed Temporarily for Renovations

According to Danville Today: The Town of Danville and Contra Costa County Library have approved a two-week closure to complete a renovation project at the Danville Library to update aging equipment and décor. The Library will be closed from June 13-26, 2016, after the current academic year concludes for the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Minimal library services will be provided from the Mt.
